Foxy Strikes Plea Deal In Florida
Â
Foxy Brown dodged another bullet that could have sent her right back to jail, after accepting a plea deal in Broward County court yesterday.
According to the Associated Press, Foxy accepted a deal from the state of Florida that allowed her to avoid jail time in a case involving her getting into an altercation at a Pembroke Pines beauty supply store last year. Foxy will now be placed on six months probation and will have to perform 15 hours of community service in addition to paying court costs and fines.
The deal comes on the heels of Foxy’s lawyer resigning, as she tried to seal the plea deal on her own without the help of her attorney. In light of the incident, the judge had given Foxy two weeks to find new representation and was scheduled to be back in court on May 8.
